As you already know, our first ever "Bids for Kids" is now one for the history books!!   Praise the Lord for all that he did through this great event!!  The auction was our highest-ever fall fundraiser!! A HUGE thank-you to all of you who helped support this fundraiser -- to all of you who prayed so faithfully for weeks and months, to all of the MANY volunteers who gave of their time and talents (the auction planning committee, all who procured, those who helped stuff baskets, those who helped setup, those who worked the event Friday night -- the list goes on and on!), to those of you who supported us with your attendance, to those of you who offered yourself and/or your services as items up for bid, to those of you who gave cash donations, to those who offered words of support and encouragement along the way -- THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! If you attended the event and did not get a chance to fill out a feedback card, click on the feedback link.  Please take a few minutes to fill it out and return it to me in the school office.  We hope to make this an annual event, and we want to improve each year -- your feedback is important! As we look towards next year, please keep your eyes open for things that may be of use to us in our next "Bids for Kids".  If you happen to see nice baskets on sale or at a yard sale, please think of us!  Also, if you have something that you would consider donating to next year's auction, please let me know.  Even though we won't start our intense planning phase until next fall, it is never too soon to begin gathering things as we come across them!  Be sure to tell your family and friends what a wonderful time you had on Friday, too, and encourage them to join us next year!
