Lions Finish Regular Season on High Note

The Covenant soccer team traveled to St. Petersburg on Friday night, and seemed to enjoy the road, as the Lions stormed to a 6-0 victory over Northside Christian. 

Reid Ferguson and James Sikes each scored 2 goals to pace Covenant, while Ryne Ferguson and Jonathan Dixon both added one goal.  With the regular season now over, the Lions, after a trip to Busch Gardens this weekend, will look to the district tournament on Monday. 

Covenant finished 4th in the district and will face the 5th seeded Royals from The First Academy.  The game will be played at 5:00 at TFA.
