 Lions Come up Short
December 8, 2009
The varsity soccer team lost to a very tough Trinity Prep team, but fought hard. The Lions were down 3-0, and towards the end of the 2nd half, had cut the lead to 3-2, and a late goal by the Saints left the final score, 4-2. Covenant fought for the comeback the entire game, and Coach Del Pino applauded the effort of his team.
Ryne Ferguson and James Sikes scored a goal each, both out of free kicks. The Lions' record is now 4-3.
