Zauner on His way to State Meet

Team just misses, finishes Seventh

On the toughest course of the year, the Lions fell just short of qualifying for the FHSAA state meet, finishing seventh overall in regionals. Zeke Zauner, however, will continue his season for one more week, as the team leader did it again, finishing 12th overall to advance to the state meet. Zauner completed the course in 18:10.

Kyle Hensel, running in his final race as a Lion, finished 36th overall with a strong time of 19:09. While Kyle will be a huge loss, he is the only senior on the roster, so the Lions will roar into next season with high expectations.
