Covenant Finishes 2nd in District Meet

Zauner Leads the Way to FHSAA Regionals

The boys' cross-country team knew every point would count at Saturday's FHSAA Class A, District 4 meet. In the end, 4 points separated 2nd and 3rd place as the Lions edged out King's Academy to claim the runner-up trophy. The team averaged a 19:07, led by Zeke Zauner's 17:27. Zauner finished 8th overall. Kyle Hensel, Ryan Drawdy, Will Shrader, and Elias Hensel all ran PR times to help Covenant advance to the regional meet in Mt. Dora on November 14th.
